Our Frontline Partners

The Voter Empowerment Project (VEP) provides pro bono assistance to small, under-resourced, POC-led voter engagement organizations working at the state or local levels. VEP helps expand the capacity and impact of these front-line groups as they promote turnout among voters of color, youth, new Americans, returning citizens, and other historically disenfranchised communities.

Are you a voter engagement group that meets our criteria and would like VEP’s assistance? If so, apply here:

VEP’s assistance is available to organizations that:

  • have nonpartisan voter engagement as a main focus area;

  • are focused at the state or local level;

  • are small and underresourced in terms of budget and staff size;

  • are led by people of color; and

  • have areas of need that are not met by other sources of technical assistance.

VEP prioritizes groups in the following states:*

Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Montana, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, West Virginia
